Purpose of the role:
Financial Reporting Lead will support the financial reporting process including internal controls.
Critical Responsibilities (MAE/MATTE/HSES*):
Ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSES Procedures.
Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities:
Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Harbour Energy's Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures, and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required.
Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence:
• Prepare and review financial statements
• Monthly reporting to Harbour Group
• General Ledger (GL) accounting
• Estimate and post updates of provisions
• Identify and implement improvements to the internal control environment
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Critical Skills*, Qualifications, Experience, etc.:
• University degree in accounting / economy
• Relevant experience, mainly within oil industry accounting
• Familiar with relevant oil and gas accounting principles within IFRS
• English: Fluent oral and written
• Norwegian: Fluent oral and written
