JOB OBJECTIVE / JOB EXPECTATIONS

  • To ensure operational experience, operational planning and coordination, and supporting project execution, completion and start up towards the project objectives and project schedules
  • Establish operations philosophies, provide input to project contracts SoW and ensure the right    quality of operational input and planning related EPC deliverables
  • Responsible in ensuring smooth transition from project completion into production operation

 

TASKS AND SCOPE OF WORK / MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AREAS

  • Establish and maintain Ready for Production Operations (RFPO) plan during execution phase.
  • Provide input to the operation and maintenance philosophy.
  • Coordinate operation readiness sessions across delivery lines
  • Contribute to design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP and other HSEQ related activities through production operation perspective.
  • Provide support to technical disciplines to enhance and safeguard fabrication and installation
  • Support production operations activities.
  • Identify and organize necessary training of staff prior to Start Up and operations.
  • Coordinate the update of operational procedures and instructions.
  • Identify and organize the initial start-up procedures
  • Contribute and ensure handover of systems from project to operations
  • Provide input to operation readiness reviews and pre start-up audit, supporting the project
  • Verify documentation handover according to requirements.
  • Ensure follow-up of relevant discipline standards.
  • Interface with facilities teams (SURF and Platform to fulfil system design requirements.
  • Provide operability assurance from design to production start-up.
  • Provide RFPO input to project plan.
  • Identify specific activity or project/operations risks
  • Provide input to design basis for platform and FPSO modification scope especially from the perspective of production operation
  • Planning of project activities that requires safety analysis, HAZOP, HAZOP, LTA including SIMOP).
  • Provide input to handover requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Contribute to safe start-up of new facilities and equipment.
  • Define to operating specifications and modes of operation.

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Education (Level of educational required)

  • Bachelor's degree in the area of Earth Sciences, Geology, Geosciences. (Required)
  • Master’s Degree (Optional)

Professional Experience (Required experience in a clearly definable field of activity and total years)

     Between five to ten (5 - 10) years of experience in static reservoir characterization, specifically for complex Turbidite environment with large amount well data and logs. Experience in the generation of 3D geological models.

 

TECHNICAL AND NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS

Technical Skills (Special Technical knowledge: As: Software. Law knowledge, standards knowledge, etc.)

  • 5+ years relevant experience in geology reservoir characterization 
  • Relevant experience with static reservoir characterization, specifically in complex Turbidite environment
  • Relevant experience with reservoir characterization software’s (e.g. Petrel)
  • Experience with preparing 3D geological models and well initiation requests
  • Experience in operational geology and drilling follow-up

Non-Technical Skills (It refers to soft skills: i.e. leadership, management skills, negotiation, communication, etc.)

  • Able to work in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Strong written and oral skills to efficiently communicate ideas, plans
  • Teamwork and collaboration with different stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Strong problem-solving capacities
  • Detail-oriented focus on reaching the tasks/objectives proposed
