Purpose of Role:
The Senior Performance & Analytics Adviser role at Harbour Energy is instrumental in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain through data-driven insights and analytics. This role is designed to:
• Develop and implement performance metrics and analytics to monitor, assess, and improve supply chain operations
• Utilise advanced analytics to identify opportunities for optimisation and cost reduction within the supply chain
• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and business unit leaders to align performance metrics with strategic objectives
• Lead initiatives to enhance data quality and accessibility for informed decision-making across the supply chain function
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the supply chain through data-driven strategies
Critical Responsibilities:
• Ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSES Procedures
Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Harbour Energy’s Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures, and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required
Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence:
• Performance Metrics Development: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry standards
• Analytics and Reporting: Utilise data analytics tools to generate insights on supply chain performance, identifying trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement
• Data Management: Oversee the collection, validation, and management of supply chain data to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis
• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to integrate supply chain performance metrics into overall business strategies
• Cost Reduction Initiatives: Analyse supply chain operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to realise these savings
• Process Improvement: Leverage analytics to drive process improvements across the supply chain, enhancing efficiency, and reducing lead times
• Technology Utilisation: Advocate for the use of advanced supply chain technologies and analytics tools to enhance operational capabilities
• Training and Development: Provide training and support to supply chain staff on performance metrics and analytics tools
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies, identifying and mitigating risks through analytics
Critical Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree, professional certifications in supply chain or analytics preferred
• Proven experience in supply chain analytics or performance management, ideally within the oil and gas industry or a similar complex, global environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analytics tools and software
• Ability to think strategically and apply analytics to support supply chain optimisation and business objectives
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex analytics insights to non-technical stakeholders
