Purpose of Role:

  • The primary purpose of this position to provide Electrical Engineering support to UK operations ensuring safe delivery of engineering activity and equipment integrity.

 

Critical Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSEQ procedures, Asset specific Performance Standards and Engineering Standards    
  • Assist with defining equipment/system performance standards and specifications of new equipment
  • Responsible for monitoring equipment/system performance initiating and ensuring corrective actions.
  • Responsible for discipline engineering and maintenance support to UK operations

 

Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Harbour Energy’s Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures, and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required

 

Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence:

  • Support the provision of Electrical support to UK operated assets.
  • Assist in establishing long term facility modification & maintenance plans/programs to ensure cost effective operation and asset integrity throughout facility lifetime.
  • Support Modification or site improvement from design through to execution. Application of MOC, value proposition and basic project economics.
  • Support engineering responses and solutions to Technical Queries.
  • Support equipment performance monitoring including performance optimisation studies and failure investigations.
  • Review Electrical Engineering project and modification designs to ensure compliance with Harbour Energy Standards and Practices.
  • Adhere to contract management processes
  • Any other reasonable duty as per instruction by your manager

 

Critical Skills, Qualifications, Experience, etc.:

  • Educated to engineering degree level or satisfactory equivalent e.g. HND/HNC plus preferable qualifications/experience and/or vocational certificates
  • Understanding of processes required to meet HSE objectives. Fully conversant with UK regulatory environment
  • Self-driven.
  • Good communication skills
  • Awareness of Harbour Energy’s HSEQ Policies and Business Management System (BMS)
  • Awareness of Harbour Energy’s Values & Business Principles
