Purpose of Role:
- The position is responsible of the maintenance and integrity studies to pipelines, prosses equipment, manifolds and christmas trees on wells. Also responsible for developing and executing infrastructure projects (Batteries compression plants, pipelines, flow lines, gathering headers, administrative offices, etc.) fulfilling national/ international standards in force and HSES requirements.
Critical Responsibilities (MAE/MATTE/HSES*):
- Ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSES Procedures.
Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Harbour Energy’s Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures, and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required.
Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence:
- Responsible for the pipelines and process equipment integrity activities and studies.
- Knowledge in evaluating damage mechanisms in pipelines and process equipment that transport and contain hydrocarbons.
- Geopositioning of Pipelines and Infrastructure.
- Manage the basic and detailed engineering for new pipelines and infrastructure.
- Rehabilitation of access roads and well pads.
- Responsible for the construction of new pipelines and infrastructure.
- Pipeline repair due to containment loss and/or integrity restoration.
- Planning and execution of services for preventive maintenance to christmas trees on wells, fulfilling corporate standards, and corrective maintenance as well.
- Responsible of planning, control and monitoring of field activities.
- Overseeing fieldwork executed by contractors, ensuring compliance with quality, regulations and standards.
- Ensure compliance from contractors to Harbour HSES policies and requirements.
- Participate in HSES Harbour audits to contractors.
- Develop Maintenance Annual Programs (PAT) for each discipline responsibility for the position.
- Monthly monitoring of Maintenance Annual Programs (PAT) compliance, monthly/weekly work reporting.
- Development of documents for bidding processes, and support Procurement during tendering.
- Administrative tracking to development of service contracts, materials and equipment procure, procurement orders, reviewing and accepting of progress billing and Work Activity Acknowledgment.
- Adequately manage the company's financial resources, considering the best technical-economic alternatives.
- Responsible for the correct budget management assigned to activities related to the position.
- Implementation and monitoring of KPI´s to follow up performance of services that are responsibility of the position.
- Conduct meetings with contractors to follow up work progress and definition of actions to mitigate deviations.
- Support to different operational areas for technology/ projects implementation.
- Provide required information for audits and contractual requirements.
Critical Skills*, Qualifications, Experience, etc.:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering civil, Mechanical, Metallurgical, or related technical discipline.
- English (written and spoken) B2
- Spanish: First Language
- 10 years of experience in the position or related, with pipelines integrity, maintenance and project development.
- Knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD.
- Wide knowledge of requirements and standards relevant for the activities related to the position responsibilities.
- Wide knowledge of HSES standards and regulations for Oil & Gas industry
- Relevant experience in maintenance, integrity studies, non-destructive testing, coating application, rights-of-the way activities related, access way and locations.
- Wide knowledge of construction, maintenance, mechanical integrity studies, engineering and project control.
- Willingness to execute assignments.
- Ability to anticipate deviations from tasks in progress.
- Management, planning and follow up skills.
- Ease of communication and personal interaction.
- Leadership and assertive communication.
