JOB OBJECTIVE / JOB EXPECTATIONS
Lead the pipeline scope for Kan Development Project and be part of the facility Kan project development team
TASKS AND SCOPE OF WORK / MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AREAS
- Ensure compliance with Harbour Energy Management System.
- Provide technical expertise for concept development, engineering and construction of subsea
- pipeline systems.
- Ensure that project standards and functional specifications for pipeline systems are suitable.
- Provide technical expertise for design, fabrication and installation engineering assisting in the Kan
- field development.
- Follow-up contractors engineering, construction, testing and commissioning activities within
- subsea pipeline systems.
- Ensure that pipeline systems engineering, construction and maintenance is performed according
- to standards and functional specifications.
- Implement and follow the design verification process.
- Respond to technical queries, deviations and to technical requirements, work requirements and
- guidelines.
- Give engineering support for the Kan-development project.
- Provide subsea pipeline system expertise to internal and external project review activities.
- Plan and execute minor studies and modifications for the Kan project.
- Ensure that relevant technical documentation (LCI) is updated, correct and accessible.
- Provide support to the license Technical Committee (TC), required partners interaction,
- presentations, and reporting of project status.
- Participate in the preparation of concept design.
- Provide input in the preparation of the Basis of Design.
- Participate in the Stage Gate Process deliverables preparation.
- Contribute to project risk workshops. Identify and follow up relevant risks and mitigating actions.
- Align with Subsurface, Operations, HSE, Drilling & Wells, Regulatory Coordinator and Commercial disciplines for proactive contribution to project success (delivery according to Field Development Plan).
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Education · University degree or master's degree in relevant oil and gas subject. Professional Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Engineering, Fabrication and Operation of subsea pipeline systems.
- Minimum 5 years of experience within field development of offshore projects.
- Multi-disciplinary subsea knowledge and experience, preferably from both operators and contractors.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of all parts of a subsea pipeline systems.
- Broad experience with subsea projects of both front end design aspects as well as construction/installation and commissioning experience in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Be familiar with typical design codes relevant to engineering, design, construction and installation of subsea pipeline systems.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of relevant contractors and the latest market developments.
- Good knowledge of relevant rules, regulations and requirements relevant for Gulf of Mexico would be positive.
TECHNICAL AND NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS
Technical Skills
- Proficient in software required for pipeline engineering.
- Good knowledge of international standards/ best practices and local regulation of pipeline
systems.
- Good material competence.

- Self-motivated.
- Excellent communication and cooperation skills.
