Purpose of Role:

 

  • Manage procurement activities associated with multiple corporate service areas such as but not limited to Communications, Corporate Functions, Facilities & Office Supplies, Information Systems, Human Resources, HSES & Quality, Construction, EPCI, Project Management. Responsible for delivering comprehensive support and vendor alignment for BU Mexico.
  • Additionally, ensure that procurement processes are aligned with quality standards, Internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with Harbour’s Management System and actively contribute to cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.

 

Critical Responsibilities (MAE/MATTE/HSES*):

 

  • Ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSES Procedures.

 

Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Harbour Energy’s Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures, and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required.

 

Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence:

 

  • Management and execution of Source to Contract and Requisition to Pay related activities.
  • Obtain quotes and negotiate prices, conditions, terms and specifications with vendors for purchase orders and contracts.
  • Monitor contract performance and manage renewals or terminations.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities.
  • Resolve discrepancies with vendors.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Contact for internal Business Partners and suppliers with respect to above-mentioned tasks.

 

Critical Skills*, Qualifications, Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study (economics, supply chain, engineering).
  • Proficient in English (written & spoken).
  • Proficient in Spanish (written & spoken) Preferably mother language.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Trust, care, open-minded and brave.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Team oriented.
  • Good communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical skills and systematic approach.
  • Knowledge of Contract management (applicable law, Incoterms).
  • Knowledge and methods for example Specification assessment, Tender management, Bid, comparisons, Risk management, Supplier management, Logistics / Supply chain management, Negotiation skills.
