Purpose of Role:
Serves as the primary interface between the company and its joint venture partners. This role ensures that all interactions, project development activities, reporting, and governance processes are executed in strict alignment with the Joint Operating Agreement (JOA). Plays a critical role in maintaining strong partner relationships, enabling effective decision-making, and ensuring the smooth operation of all JV governance structures.
Critical Responsibilities (MAE/MATTE/HSES):
Ensure that all activities are executed safely and responsibly, in full compliance with applicable regulations and the company’s HSES standards, preventing Major Accident Events (MAE) and Major Accidents to the Environment (MATTE).
Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities:
Act in full alignment with the company’s Ethics and Compliance framework and complete all required compliance training.
Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence:
1. JV Partner Focal Point
· Act as the primary point of contact for all JV partners regarding day-to-day matters.
· Ensure timely and effective communication.
· Coordinate information flow.
· Manage & address JV partners requests.
2. JV Relationship & Interaction Management
· Manage and maintain strong working relationships with all JV partners.
· Facilitate constructive interactions and support cooperation.
· Identify issues early and coordinate resolutions.
3. Compliance with Joint Operating Agreement (JOA)
· Advise internal teams on JOA requirements.
· Ensure compliance in project activities.
· Track and interpret JOA provisions.
4. Operating Committee Governance
· Facilitate all Operating Committee Meetings (OCM).
· Prepare agendas, materials, and decision papers.
· Document minutes and track actions.
5. Work Program & Budget (WP&B) Management
· Coordinate preparation, submission and approval of the annual WP&B in accordance with JoA.
· Monitor budget performance and variances with appropriate reporting to JV partners.

Professional Experience
· 10 years in E&P business with 5+ years of experience in JV management or coordination.
Education
· Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree is a plus.

· Proficient in English and Spanish (written & spoken).
