OBJECTIVE / JOB EXPECTATIONS

  • Lead the development and establishment of the technical interface management system and integration of the Interface tools at Contractor’s site offices.
  • Establish, implement and maintain all required technical interface agreements, interface matrices and battery limit definitions in project, capturing timely interface exchange and closure.
  • Lead the establishment and follow up of interface status and performance and be pro-active in re-solving and mitigating bottle necks.

 

Critical Responsibilities (MAE/MATTE/HSES*):

  • Ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSES Procedures.

 

Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Harbour Energy’s Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures, and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required.

 

TASKS AND SCOPE OF WORK / MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AREAS

  • Establish requirements for contractors to plan, understand and incorporate the interface system in projects
  • Assist and advise technical engineering and company representatives on ways to resolve interface challenges in a cost-efficient and timely manner, within the contractual framework
  • Lead the implementation of interface management requirements in contracts towards contractor organizations in cooperation with company representative and interface personnel.
  • Coordination of all interface responsible personnel within the different disciplines (wellhead platform, subsea, pipelines, wells and FPSO to ensure consistency and timely interface closure.
  • Monitor interface management and progress in the project team and contractors, to propose reviews, audits, actions and other measures as required in close cooperations with project team.
  • Monitor performance of interface management to ensure that all project key milestones are met
  • Responsible for guidance and training of project personnel (including subcontractors) to ensure correct use of the interface system tool, and understanding of the process
  • Support project and engineering management with statistics and indicators on project interface handling, response times and criticalities as required for early implementation of measures.
  • Assess and predict status and remaining/outstanding work/tasks/activities and required effort (budget, resources and time) within project interface management to ensure correct quality
  • Participate in project management meetings and present, operate and maintain the project’s interface management system tool.
  • Report overall interface status to management, into project progress report and status meetings
  • Ensure input to ITTs for interface management and qualify contractor interface systems during tendering.
  • Contribute to and ensure capture of lessons learned from previous and ongoing projects
  • Owner’s representative and Technical Authority for the Interface management

 

TECHNICAL AND NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Technical Skills (Special Technical knowledge: As: Software. Law knowledge, standards knowledge, etc.)
  • Demonstrated knowledge with Web Based Interface Management System, i.e. PIMS Interface, Seaflex) or similar is an advantage.

Non-Technical Skills (It refers to soft skills: i.e. leadership, management skills, negotiation, communication, etc.)

  • Demonstrate thorough understanding for own responsibility area

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Education (Required Educational Level)

  • University degree, BSc in relevant disciplines such as mechanical, structural, etc,  preferably a Master’s degree in an engineering subject.

Professional Experience (Required experience in a clearly definable field of activity and total years)

  • Minimum 8 years of experience within minor/major projects/operation within Topside, Subsea, pipelines and/or FPSO redeployment.
  • At least 3 years of experience with interface coordination/management in oil and gas projects
