Purpose of Role:
- The Integrated Planning Manager is a strategic management role responsible for orchestrating the integrated planning, governance, and value optimization of two major development projects within the Business Unit. This position ensures both projects operate cohesively as part of a broader portfolio, maximizing synergies, reducing inefficiencies, and enabling senior leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions.
- The role works at the intersection of strategic planning, business case validation, project execution oversight, and corporate governance. Through structured integration, the Integrated Planning Manager acts as a critical enabler for the Project Owner and BU leadership—ensuring that the development portfolio delivers optimal value, aligns with corporate objectives, and adapts effectively to evolving business requirements.
Critical Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSES Procedures
Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Harbour Energy’s Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures, and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required
Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence:
Strategic Integration & Portfolio Alignment
- Lead the integration of project plans, schedules, risks, and value drivers across two major projects to create a unified, enterprise-level development roadmap.
- Ensure alignment of project assumptions, scenarios, dependencies, and long-range forecasts across disciplines (technical, commercial, operations, finance).
- Maintain a consolidated, strategic view of the BU development pipeline, highlighting key value levers, constraints, and interdependencies.
- Monitor evolving project interfaces and ensure integrated planning reflects changes in scope, execution strategy, or market conditions.
Business Case & Value Optimization
- Partner with Project Owners and functional leads to refine business cases, validate assumptions, and strengthen economic justification.
- Maintain integrated economic models, and sensitivity analyses to support optimization and trade-off decisions.
- Identify synergies between the two major projects and drive cross-project alignment to capture value.
- Conduct scenario planning and option evaluation to support portfolio-level strategy and investment decisions.
Governance, Reporting & Decision Support

- Consolidate portfolio data for annual business planning, investment governance, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).
- Provides functional leadership for all planning focal points across the two projects.
- Lead structured reporting to ensure visibility of risks, schedule performance, forecasts, milestones, and KPIs.
- Prepare executive-quality materials for the VP Integration, SVP Development, and senior leadership forums.
- Ensure planning frameworks and reporting processes align with corporate governance standards.
Project Planning Systems, Tools & Data Management

- Develop and maintain project planning dashboards, schedules, risk registers, and portfolio databases.
- Ensure traceability and reliability of multi-source project data.
- Promote the use of project planning tools, including analytics and visualization platforms.
- Drive continuous improvement and standardization of project planning practices.
Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Serve as the integration hub between project teams, finance, operations, commercial, HSE, and strategy.
- Facilitate alignment workshops, planning sessions, and decision-making meetings.
- Manage complex stakeholder environments with proactive communication and transparency.
- Support the Project Owner by ensuring work reflects integrated impacts and strategic priorities

Technical Skills
- Strong financial acumen and ability to support business case development.
- Proficiency with planning and analytics tools (Primavera, Power BI, Excel, etc.).
Non-Technical Skills
- Exceptional communication, analytical thinking, and cross-functional influence skills
Professional Experience
- 15+ years of experience with 7 years in portfolio planning, business planning, or major capital project management.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree is a plus
