Purpose of Role:
- Lead the technical delivery of the Subsurface Engineering team covering reservoir engineering, production engineering and production chemistry, supporting delivery to Zama, Kan and Block 30.
- Build and develop engineering capability through technical management of the engineering disciplines.
- Accountability for ensuring work is delivered in compliance with relevant standards and procedures, both local regulations and Harbour internal.

- Ensure all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSES Procedures.
Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Harbour Energy’s Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required.
Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence:
Accountable for the Technical Delivery of:
- Dynamic modeling for Zama and Kan in alignment with the asset team
- Manage technical delivery of dynamic models (Eclipse/TNav, Petrel RE) and history matching across Zama, Kan and producing fields.
- Manage studies into PVT, relative permeability and pressure data interpretation supporting field analysis and forecasting work.
- Manage technical analysis of waterflood and EOR/IOR design across operated assets, supporting reserves and recovery factor optimisation.
Production Optimisation and Reservoir Surveillance
- Manage production surveillance plans and delivery, including rate transient analysis, well testing, decline analysis and pressure monitoring across operated assets.
- Manage production optimisation and well intervention planning, working with Wells and Operations teams.
- Deliver production chemistry standards including scaling, corrosion, flow assurance, hydrate management and chemical injection programmes.
Resource Deployment and People Management
- Deploy reservoir engineers, production engineers and production chemists to Zama, Kan and Block 30per project and operational priorities, coordinating with asset Subsurface Managers on resourcing needs.
- Line-manage direct reports across the engineering disciplines, coaching them through technical mentoring and structured feedback.
- Set individual objectives, conduct performance reviews, build national engineering capability and support hiring and selection in coordination with the Reservoir Senior Manager.
Critical Skills, Qualifications, Experience, etc. :
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of dynamic reservoir characterisation and numerical reservoir simulation, specifically in turbidite environments, with proficiency in Petrel RE and Eclipse/TNav.
- Proficiency in conventional reservoir engineering tools including Petex suite, OFM, Prosper and Saphir.
- Working knowledge of production engineering including nodal analysis, integrated production modelling (IPM), artificial lift design and flow assurance (Petex suite, Pipesim).
- Competency in PVT analysis, relative permeability interpretation and pressure transient analysis.
- Experience in waterflood project design and implementation.
- Experience in EOR design and implementation.
- Experience supervising and leading multi-discipline engineering teams across development and production assets.

Professional Experience:
- More than 12 years of experience in the E&P industry with a strong reservoir or production engineering background.
- Experience delivering engineering inputs to offshore developments via FPSO, including waterflood and EOR implementation.
- Experience supporting field development evaluations combining technical and economic analysis to maximise NPV.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
- Graduate or post-graduate qualifications in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related discipline; membership of professional and industry associations.
Language:
- English: Proficient (written and spoken).
- Spanish: Intermediate or above.
