Purpose of Role:

  • Responsible for delivering digital and information management services for BU Mexico under the direction of the BU IS Manager and in alignment with Technical Services.
  • Reports operationally to the BU IS Manager, with functional alignment to Corporate Data and Digital teams for standards, governance and platform direction.
  • Acts as the local delivery coordinator, overseeing and executing reporting, analytics, automation and information management initiatives in line with Corporate IS standards and platforms.
  • Supervises day-to-day delivery, combining hands-on execution with coordination of resources to deliver measurable, compliant and supportable business outcomes.

 

Critical Responsibilities (MAE/MATTE/HSES*):

  • Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSES Procedures.  

 

Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Harbour Energy’s Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required.

 

Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence:

  • Deliver and supervise reporting, analytics, automation and digital solutions for BU Mexico.
  • Support the BU IS Manager in prioritising and executing data and digital demand.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for delivery.
  • Coordinate local resources, vendors and managed services to deliver agreed outcomes. 
  • Perform hands-on development and configuration where required.
  • Ensure all solutions align with Corporate IS architecture, standards, governance and security requirements.
  • Maintain documentation, support models and service processes for delivered solutions.
  • Monitor service performance, user adoption and value realisation, driving corrective actions where needed.
  • Deliver and support information management activities including document organisation, metadata application and lifecycle handling in line with enterprise standards.
  • Contribute to information quality by improving structure, accessibility and consistency of both structured and unstructured content within defined enterprise frameworks.

 

Critical Skills*, Qualifications, Experience, etc.:

 

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on capability with tools such as Power Apps, Power BI and information management tooling.
  • Understanding of information lifecycle concepts (creation, storage, retention and disposal) within defined governance frameworks.
  • Commercial awareness, including budget tracking and cost control. 

 

Non-Technical Skills

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and delivery skills, with proven experience delivering data, analytics, reporting, automation or digital solutions in a business-facing environment.
  •  Ability to translate business requirements into practical, deliverable solutions. 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across business and technical audiences.

 

Professional Experience

  • Proven delivery experience in information, reporting, analytics, automation or digital solutions in a business-facing role. 
  • Experience supervising delivery and coordinating multi-sourced teams or vendors. 
  • Practical experience of information or document management in a business environment. 
  • Experience in prioritising workload, managing demand and delivering against agreed plans. 

 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.

 

Language

  • Fluent English required.
  • Spanish desirable.
