Purpose of Role:

  • Established to lead and integrate supply chain operations across multiple projects and functions, ensuring streamlined operations and strategic alignment with the broader objectives of the Technical Services - Supply Chain department.
  • This role is established to provide strategic leadership and seamless integration of supply chain operations across multiple projects and functions, ensuring full alignment with the overarching objectives of the Technical Services – Supply Chain organisation.
  • Accountable for the successful delivery of supply chain solutions that support project efficiencies and cost-effectiveness, while interfacing with various teams to optimise processes and resource utilisation.
  • The position holds accountability for delivering robust, efficient, and cost-effective supply chain solutions, fostering operational excellence while effectively coordinating cross-functional interfaces. The successful candidate will drive sustainable performance through innovation, collaboration, and disciplined execution, ensuring optimal resource utilisation across complex and dynamic project environments.
  • Drives the achievement of departmental goals by promoting collaboration and innovation in supply chain management, thereby contributing to the overall success and competitive positioning of the business unit. Ensures compliance with all regulatory and company standards, upholding the company's commitment to ethics and compliance within the supply chain management across projects.
  • Additionally, the role ensures strict adherence to regulatory requirements, corporate governance, and ethical standards, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to integrity and compliance across all supply chain activities.

 

Critical Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSES Procedures.
  • Ensure that all activities are executed in full compliance with applicable Health, Safety, Environmental and Security (HSES) standards, regulatory requirements, and Harbour Energy procedures, promoting a proactive and visible safety culture across all supply chain operations.

  • Define and implement supply chain strategies that align with multi-project requirements and company goals.
  • Define and execute integrated supply chain strategies that support multi-project delivery and align with broader corporate objectives.
  • Oversee the integration of supply chain processes across functions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce redundancies.
  • Lead the harmonisation of supply chain processes across functions, eliminating inefficiencies and ensuring operational consistency.
  • Direct the adoption of best practices in supply chain management to support project execution and operational excellence.
  • Drive the adoption of industry best practices in supply chain management within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain to align with evolving business needs and market conditions.
  • Be the Champion of continuous improvement and innovation, adapting strategies to evolving business demands and market conditions.
  • Act as a role model leader, inspiring trust, credibility, and alignment across diverse teams and stakeholders.

 

Operational Management

  • Manage the end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring effective logistics, procurement and material management across projects.
  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities, including procurement, logistics, and materials management across multiple projects.
  • Ensure the establishment of KPIs and monitor performance against these metrics to assess operational success and areas for improvement.
  • Establish, monitor, and continuously refine KPIs and performance metrics to drive operational excellence.
  • Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure resource availability and timely delivery of services and materials.
  • Ensure effective coordination with project managers and cross-functional stakeholders to guarantee timely delivery and resource availability.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Anticipate and manage risks by implementing robust mitigation strategies to prevent disruptions.
  • Maintain effectiveness under pressure, demonstrating resilience, adaptability, and strong problem-solving capabilities in complex operational scenarios.
  • Import & Export customs clearance strong knowledge of Mexico Laws and procedures.

Technical Skills

  • Expertise in integrated supply chain management systems and processes across multiple projects within the oil & gas sector.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and SCM software and tools, strong emphasis on data analytics.
  • Deep understanding of global logistics, procurement strategies, and Contract Management within a project-driven environment.

Professional Experience

  • 15+ years of extensive experience managing supply chain operations across multiple projects within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Proven track record in managing supply chain operations across multiple projects in the oil & gas industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve operational performance.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution of supply chain initiatives that significantly improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Experience operating in complex, fast-paced, and demanding environments, requiring adaptability and strong leadership.

 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

 

Language

  • English: Professional Proficient (written and spoken).
