Purpose of Role:  

•    Drive the transformation of Harbour Energy’s enterprise systems across multiple countries—shaping how the business operates at scale, driving process transformation through SAP/ERP systems, digital technologies and data-driven insights.
•    As a key member of Enterprise Systems team, you too will become an “integration master”, pushing the boundaries in speed of execution and value generation which has seen us grow to the largest independent producer in just 12 years. 
•    This role offers the opportunity to influence how the organisation operates at its core—establishing a consistent, scalable and high-performing operating model across Business Units and Corporate functions
•    With a higher degree of access and visibility with senior leaders you will fundamentally shape our future by being empowered to build compelling business cases and investment proposals that deliver measurable ROI and delivering these transformational initiatives across multiple countries and functions.

 

Critical Responsibilities (MAE/MATTE/HSES):

Ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSES Procedures

 

Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities:

•    Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Harbour Energy’s Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures, and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required

 

Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence:

Enterprise System Leadership
•    Champion and maintain our core EMS applications, including SAP / ERP platforms and integrated business systems, to deliver a consistent, streamlined way of working
•    Drive the evolution of EMS applications to support end-to-end process transformation across operations, finance, supply chain and corporate functions
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
•    Build strong, trusted relationships with functional teams to understand operating processes and identify ERP-enabled transformation opportunities 
•    Partner with existing and potential vendors and technology providers to identify value opportunities in AI, automation, new business models to maximise value from digital platforms.
•    Our team has a growing reputation in Energy and Utilities – Lead external engagements at industry events and other peer collaboration opportunities 
Integration & Change Delivery
•    Support integration activities and cross-functional programmes, ensuring changes land smoothly and deliver measurable business and operational outcomes. 
•    Drive standardisation of processes and application usage across the organisation, leveraging SAP/ERP capabilities to enable efficiency, control and scalability. 
•    Ensure alignment between process design, system capability and data structures to enable consistent execution across Business Units and Corporate.
•    Work with world class delivery partners to deliver exceptional outcomes, transforming our organisation and industry. 
Process Excellence & Transformation
•    Understand and optimise end-to-end business processes across functions, identifying opportunities to reduce inefficiencies, improve cycle times and eliminate failure points. 
•    Drive process transformation initiatives leveraging digital tools (Signavio, LeanIX), automation and system enhancements. 
•    Promote adoption of standardised, best-in-class processes supported by robust system controls and data integrity.
Data & Analytics
•    Ensure EMS platforms provide accurate, timely and actionable data to support operational and strategic decision-making. 
•    Embed performance metrics and analytics into core processes to drive transparency, accountability and continuous improvement. 
•    Work with stakeholders to enable better use of data insights across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain and Corporate functions.
Health and Safety Environment
•    Ensure EMS applications support safe operations, regulatory compliance and accurate reporting through robust data and system controls

 

Critical Skills, Qualifications, Experience, etc.:

•    Operational expertise in one of: Operations, Maintenance, Finance, HR or Supply Chain. 
•    Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to build compelling business cases and investment proposals that deliver measurable ROI
•    Strong understanding of SAP / ERP systems, enterprise platforms and digital transformation environments. 
•    Proven ability to lead process and systems transformation initiatives across multiple functions. 
•    Experience leveraging data and analytics to drive performance improvement and business insight. 
•    Ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to deliver complex change programmes.
