Job Role/Title: Principal EMS System Adviser (Finance)

Purpose of Role:
• Define, maintain and continuously improve the Enterprise Management System applications that enable consistent delivery of the Company’s core finance business processes
• Maximise the effectiveness of Harbour’s organisation and staff through access to efficient supporting EMS core systems and consistent business process adoption
• Provide Finance systems expertise to support Harbour’s future EMS strategy
Critical Responsibilities (MAE/MATTE/HSES):
• Ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSES Procedures
Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Harbour Energy’s Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures, and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required
Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence:
• Responsible for ensuring that global financial processes are identified and documented
• Ensures that the core enterprise management system architecture enables the consistent adoption of the global finance processes
• Identify and coordinate process improvement, development of tools and systems enabling enhanced process automation in the respective finance processes
• Act as the Business Opportunity Manager for key financial systems projects responsible for defining the value proposition, approval process and the coordination all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Establish a consistent global governance model to ensure best practices and system performance issues are shared across Business Units and Corporate functions
• Develop, align and consistently track the KPI framework for the finance processes
• Identify and communicate internal and external best practices and support continuous reduction of complexity
• Communicate and interact with internal and external stakeholders as required
Health and Safety Environment:
• Ensure that our EMS applications are accessible, useful and up to date, supporting consistent safe operations and regulatory compliance
• Align people, process elements of business systems across Corporate and Business Units, with close collaboration on technical elements with IS
• Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSES procedures
Critical Skills:
• Deep expertise in core financial business processes and enterprise management systems, experience with SAP products preferred
• Broad understanding of core business processes across Operations, Maintenance, Finance, HR and Supply Chain
• Ability to bring together, coordinate and influence multiple functional stakeholders to deliver process adoption and improvements
• International experience preferred
• Broad understanding of the technical landscape of major business systems, vendors, risks and value potential
• Excellent written and oral communications to staff and senior management
