Purpose of Role:
- Gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in various areas of finance, including financial analysis, investment management, financial reporting, and risk management. 
- You will work closely with senior finance professionals and have the chance to contribute to key projects and initiatives within the company. You’ll move around key Finance functions, gaining in knowledge and skill as you progress
Critical Responsibilities (MAE/MATTE/HSES):
Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSES Procedures
Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities:
Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Harbour Energy’s Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures, and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required.
Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence:
- Assist in financial analysis and modelling to support strategic decision-making
- Conduct research on market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Support the investment management team in evaluating potential investment opportunities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of financial forecasting models
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and planning processes
- Contribute to the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with risk assessment and management activities
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices in finance
Critical Skills, Qualifications, Experience, etc.:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field
- Strong academic record with a focus on finance, accounting, economics, or a relevant discipline
- Proficiency in financial modelling and Microsoft Excel
- Curiosity, willingness to work hard and commitment to deliver.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Highly motivated and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic industry
- Internship or relevant work experience in finance is a plus
