Purpose of Role:

Over the course of the 2 -year graduate programme, you will rotate across Information Technology & Information Systems (IT/IS), Supply Chain, Communications, and Business Management Systems, supporting projects that drive business improvement and efficiency. Each rotation will expose you to different aspects of how technology, data, systems, and processes underpin effective decision-making in a complex, fast-paced industry.

Critical Responsibilities (MAE/MATTE/HSES):

Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSES Procedures

 

Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities:

Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Harbour Energy’s Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures, and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required.

 

Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence:

  • IT/IS: Support digital transformation and data management initiatives, helping to develop tools and systems that improve information flow, analytics, and performance monitoring.
  • Supply Chain: Analyse procurement and logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve supplier performance, and enhance operational resilience.
  • Communications: Use data insights to evaluate engagement strategies, monitor communications effectiveness, and support the delivery of clear and consistent messaging across the organisation.
  • Business Management Systems: Assist in the continuous improvement of business processes and governance frameworks, using data analysis to drive quality, compliance, and efficiency improvements.
  • Ad-hoc Projects: Participate in cross-functional business improvement & performance projects, providing analytical input to support decision-making, process optimisation, and innovation initiatives.

 

Critical Skills, Qualifications, Experience, etc.:

  • A recent graduate with a Bachelors degree in Science, Maths, Engineering or a related discipline with a real interest in moving into a business or technology management career. 
  • An analytical problem solver. 
  • A naturally inquisitive and analytical mindset, with a strong interest in using data to solve problems, identify trends, and inform business strategy.
  • Strong numeracy and data analysis skills, with proficiency in Excel and an interest in developing further analytical tools (e.g., Power BI, Python, SQL).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate data insights into meaningful business outcomes.
  • Adaptability, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning across multiple business functions.
  • Right to work in the UK.
