Area of Accountability, Responsibility & Competence
- Project planning and project management in the field of electrical, I&C and process control technology for production plants of cruide oil and natural gas
- Carrying out studies as well as basic and detailed engineering
- Compliance with and observance of functional safety in accordance with IEC61508/61511 in the course of project activities
- Preparation of cost calculations and schedules
- Responsibility for documentation, adherence to cost planning and deadlines for assigned projects
- Preparation of tender documentsand specifications for materials and service, evaluation and quotations, participation in invoice verifications
- Selecting, commissioning, instructing and coordinating external partners (engineering offices, suppliers, contractors) to ensure compliance with objectives, costs and deadlines
- Co-operation in projects with the specialist departments and companies involved
- Co-operation with authorities for approvals and arranging acceptance by the responsible supervisory bodies (TÜV, DNV GL)
- Participation in constructiom supervision, testing and commissioning of process engineering systems
Skills, Qualification & Experience
- Degree in electrical engineering (engineer or master's degree) or comparable qualification
- Experience in the field of energy technology, e.g. frequency coverter systems
- Experience in the use of electrotechnical components in explosive atmospheres desirable
- At least 3 years of professional experience desirable
- Knowledge of project management desirable
- Knowledge of process engineering contexts in natural gas and oil production companies desirable
- Willingness to travel domestically and to work in offshore facilities
- Willingness to undergo further training
- Class B driving license
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to work in a team, sence of responsibility, independence
- Strong co-operation and communication skills
- Confident written and spoken communication in German and English in everyda and technical areas
