Purpose of Role:
- The primary purpose of this position to provide discipline engineering support to UK operations to ensure equipment integrity and reliability
Critical Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe and environmentally prudent manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSES Procedures, asset-specific Performance Standards and Engineering Standards
- Assisting with defining equipment/system performance standards and specifications of new equipment
- Monitoring equipment/system performance and ensuring corrective actions
- Responsible for discipline engineering and maintenance support to UK operations
Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Harbour Energy’s Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures, and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required
Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence:
- Support the provision of discipline support to UK operated assets.
- Assist in establishing long term facility modification & maintenance plans/programs to ensure cost effective operation and asset integrity throughout facility lifetime.
- Support engineering responses and solutions to Technical Queries
- Follow up of Research and Development projects
- Assist with technical support to Operations and Maintenance Teams when requested.
- Responsible for equipment performance including spare part management and warranty follow up.
- Ensure adherence to plans to manage obsolete equipment so that it does not impact safety or business performance.
- Adhere to contract management processes.
- Any other reasonable duty as per instruction by your manager.
Critical Skills, Qualifications, Experience, etc.:
- Educated to engineering degree level or satisfactory equivalent, e.g. HND/HNC plus preferable qualifications/experience and/or vocational certificates
- Understanding of processes required to meet HSE objectives. Fully conversant with UK regulatory environment
- Self-driven
- Good communication skills
- Awareness of Harbour Energy HSEQ Policies and Business Management System (BMS)
- Awareness of Harbour Energy Values & Business Principles
