Job Role: Production Management Team Lead

Purpose of Role:
• Lead a team of Metering, Hydrocarbon Accounting, and Production Management personnel with responsibility for accurate measurement and reporting of hydrocarbon production, export and sales, emissions and delivery across all UK Business Unit operated and non-operated assets.
• Drive compliance to the Production Management Standard for UK Business Unit, providing the relevant data to reduce emissions and maximise the volume and value of hydrocarbons produced
Critical Responsibilities (MAE/MATTE/HSES):
• Ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSES Procedures
• Ensuring all fiscal regulatory requirements are met including accurate reporting for internal, external and regulatory UK Business Unit volume & emissions
• Support for UK Business Unit operated assets to ensure Production Management Standard requirements are met
Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Harbour Energy’s Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures, and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required
Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence:
• Provide leadership, guidance and support to all Production Management team members including career development and succession planning
• Ensure compliance to Production Management Standard with ownership in the areas of Hydrocarbon Management/allocation systems, Production Forecasting, Production Risk and Opportunities, and Loss management and collaborating closely in the areas
for Defining the Potential, Integrated Production System Monitoring
• Ensure compliance to fiscal regulatory requirements for metering, allocation, reporting, and production, flare and vent consents
• Ensure accurate data for UK Business Unit production volume & emissions reporting
• Provide production support & nomination service to all UK Business Unit operated assets ensuring optimal production and value from the assets within commercial and regulatory obligations. Provide support/advice to e24 and offshore as required
• Ensure metering and allocation mismeasurements are appropriately investigated, understood and reallocated with the required level of auditability and traceability
• Ensuring management of updates to systems and processes for incorporation of new or changes to current methods
• Ensure Production Management procedures remain valid and ensure that all team's activities are performed on a consistent basis
• Focal point for NSTA; volume and efficiency reporting including the PPRS reporting, annual stewardship survey, and management of production, vent and flare consent reporting and tracking
• Responsible for setting and managing the Production Management team budget
• Responsible as business owner for the Hydrocarbon Allocation System (EnergySys), ensuring appropriate access, controls and functionality and approval for enhancements and projects
• Ensure provision of production forecasting data for commercial, economic, internal and budgeting purposes
• Focal point for all hydrocarbon accounting input for third party allocation queries
• Focal point for any auditing to be carried out within Production Management Systems and processes
• Any other reasonable duty as per instruction by your manager
• Mobilise offshore as and when required by business.
• ER Allowance - The postholder may be required to join the emergency response rota should this become a requirement of the position.
Critical Skills, Qualifications, Experience, etc.:
• Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or appropriate experience and skills in the job
• Strong understanding of Production Management and processes to optimise hydrocarbon value realisation
• Broad production data, metering and allocations system experience
• Broad knowledge of commercial arrangements underpinning the UK business
• Strong business perspective, ability to understand the upstream and downstream business and translate that knowledge to value-adding activities
• Awareness of offshore operations
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Strong team-working abilities with the ability to encourage teamwork and motivate other team members
• Strong analytical skills
• Effective collaborator
• Awareness of Harbour Energy HSEQ Policies and Business Management System (BMS)
